Lent Devotional
The season of Lent begins Wednesday, February 14, and ushers us into Holy Week at the end of March. We invite you to participate in Lent this year with our weekly devotional called “An Invitation to Follow Jesus into the Desert.” You can access the devotional through social media, the Salem Alliance app or grab a hard copy in the lobby this weekend.

 

Worship Nights
Sunday, February 18, at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. Salem Alliance Church will be hosting a worship night completely dedicated to making space for worship, prayer, hearing from God and receiving emotional, spiritual and physical healing. Foster/Adoptive/Safe Families Parents' Night Out
Friday, February 23, from 6:00–9:00 pm in the Courtyard Room. Salem Alliance is offering a relief night for Foster/Adoptive/Safe Families parents to enjoy the night out while we provide a safe space and trained respite caregivers. Volunteers must pass a background check before attending and each child must be registered online. We are opening this event up to babies and toddlers in addition to preschool and school-age children.  We will have a separate room available for the care of babies and toddlers.  A light dinner, snacks and activities will be provided. Marriage Emphasis Month
Salem Alliance is celebrating marriage by making this February “Marriage Emphasis Month.” Marriage matters to us, and we want yours to be healthy and successful. Each week we will have dedicated marriage booths in the lobby where you can find a variety of resources, information about upcoming classes and a book to help strengthen your marriage. Marriage Preparation Class
Wednesdays, beginning March 7, from 6:30–8:00 pm in the Russia Room, 307. This six-week class, designed for couples who are engaged or seriously dating, will cover a range of topics such as communication, conflict resolution, family of origin issues and spirituality as a couple. Marriage on the ROCK
Wednesdays, beginning March 7, from 6:30–8:00 pm in the Mongolia Room, 305. “Marriage on the ROCK” is a five-week class designed for all couples (doing well or struggling) interested in learning new ways to invest in their marriage. This class deals with practical, real-life challenges and offers workable solutions. You will better understand God’s design for marriage and how to apply it to your relationship.
