Discipleship is the journey of following and becoming more like Jesus—becoming a person of Christ-like love in communion with God. While there is no cookie-cutter formula for this journey, there are some common experiences that we will encounter along the way—these are what we call the Discipleship Pathway. Knowing the pathway can help us navigate each stage and inform us of our next step.
Below you will find the Discipleship Pathway, ways to connect with a Discipleship Coach, and contact information of our staff who would be happy to answer any questions you might have through this process.
STEP ONE:
Read the Discipleship Pathway to discover and engage further with your current stage of discipleship. Remember that this is a tool to guide you, not a test to measure your progress. This journey with Jesus is lifelong and isn't about grades or measuring up. Above all, remember that God loves you, and He likes you.
A hard copy of the Discipleship Pathway is available in the Welcome Center or by contacting our Next Steps Team.
STEP TWO:
Wherever you find yourself on this pathway, we highly encourage you to connect with a Discipleship Coach—someone who is familiar with the Pathway and can help guide you into greater awareness, engagement, and movement. If you are interested in scheduling time with a coach, please fill out a request form below.
If you have additional questions about coaching, please email Cary Wood.
