Helping you resolve conflict in a God honoring way through group training or one-on-one settings. Peacemakers intends to help you understand God’s peace and train you to respond to conflict with grace and obedience. The Bible is filled with principles that are applicable to every kind of conflict and reconciliation is at the core of our Christian faith. Jesus led the way by reconciling us to God through the cross. “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” Romans 12:18.

A trained Peacemaker Coach will provide one-on-one coaching for perspective on your conflict and how to resolve it. There is no charge for coaching.

Level 2 Peacemaker Training

Tuesday, August 20–Wednesday August 21 from 9:00 am–5:00 pm in the Mongolia Room (305) in Broadway Commons. The Level 2 Conflict Coaching Training is the national intermediate level training led by Alliance Peacemaking at our national office, and it isn’t available to the Pacific Northwest very often. This Bible-based course is designed to help you help others when conflict arises. This two-day seminar costs $150 and includes lunch each day. To sign up:

Seminar – Next Seminar will be January of 2020
This seminar is intended to help attendees resolve conflict biblically. Everyone experiences conflict and could use biblically-based tools to help maintain relationships and explore steps toward forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration. Trained coaches provide tools for those in attendance to respond to conflict biblically.

When you cannot resolve a conflict through the use of a coach, you may need to go to the next step of Christian mediation. A panel of three trained mediators will be assigned to help both parties see the conflict more clearly through Christ’s eyes and to help bring a voluntary resolution that is honoring to God. Typically there are at least two sessions and often more. The mediation fee is $175 regardless of the number of sessions, and it is typically split equally between the parties. Cases have ranged from divorce and separation, business disputes, parent-child and inter-generational family conflicts.

Church Conciliation
Conflict does arise in churches, and a growing part of the Peacemaker ministry has been working with churches in conflict to resolve the issue(s) and avoid a church split. Our geographic ministry scope is the Willamette Valley, but we will consider requests from areas beyond this. There is a charge for this service.
