World Impact: World Impact ministry, whether it occurs locally, regionally, nationally or internationally, is a tremendously rewarding way to extend God’s grace as we place others ahead of ourselves, and serve the Kingdom with a more global perspective.

Team Goals: This team is open to the Deaf Community at Salem Alliance Church, deaf people and interpreters who have experience working with deaf students. The team has been requested by Esther Schaeffer, C&MA missionary to Burkina Faso. This is a follow-up team after previous deaf teams from Salem Alliance who have worked with local Deaf School, National Church and Bible Schools, as well as citywide deaf organizations.  We will be working directly with deaf students and hearing teachers using a Vacation Bible School (VBS) format. We desire to include and train local deaf Burkinabè to use the methods we will share, so that they can continue using these tools with the local deaf community..

Mission Organization:  Christian & Missionary Alliance, Esther Schaeffer

Location:  Burkina Faso, West Africa

Housing:  Private home in major city. There will be night-time air conditioning, regular American bathrooms and beds, and great fellowship/blessings.

Transportation:  Airline, followed by missionary vehicles.

Cost:  $2600.00 (approximately) plus travel meals Includes, airline ticketing, travel insurance, Visa (trip specific), food, housing, ground transportation, and project costs (supplies and materials).

Fundraising: All members participating in a World Impact Trip are required to send a prayer letter/email. This may also help raise support for their trip expenses. If a team member receives contributions beyond their need, the extra monies will be used for other trip related expenses.
