Welcome to Salem Alliance’s Online Giving.
Online giving is now being managed by our new TouchPoint system. Using TouchPoint you can easily set up a recurring donation, make a one-time donation, donate for mission trips, manage your existing giving, and gain access to your tax contribution statements.

If you already have a TouchPoint account, setting up your donation may feel fairly straightforward. If you are new to TouchPoint or have additional questions, please review the information below and email any questions to Penny Bidwell at pbidwell@salemalliance.org.
  

What is TouchPoint?

In the Fall of 2016, Salem Alliance implemented a new system called TouchPoint. You will be hearing more about TouchPoint in the coming months as we begin to use it for online giving, class and event registrations, coordinating volunteers, and communicating with the people of Salem Alliance.

Methods and Frequency of Donation

You can make a secure online donation with a debit card, a credit card, or a direct debit from your checking or savings account.  You can either make a one-time donation or set up a recurring donation (monthly, semi-monthly, weekly, bi-weekly).

A note about credit cards: Salem Alliance strongly discourages any use of credit cards that results in debt by the cardholder. We provide the availability of credit card transactions on our website simply as a convenience. Please charge responsibly!

Setting up an account

  • During the donation process, you will be given an opportunity to set up an account in the Salem Alliance TouchPoint system. (If you’ve recently registered for an event or class at Salem Alliance, you may already have an account.)
  • We highly recommended that you set up an account, especially for recurring donations. Having an account (and password) will allow you to log in and edit or discontinue a recurring donation and to update credit card information.
  • Having an account enables you to log in to view and print your own contribution statement at any time.
  • Shortly after clicking the box to “Create Account”, you will receive an email (from mailer@bvcms) providing you with a link to set up your password.

Funds

On the page for entering the amount of your donation, you will find a list of our major funds—Ministry Fund, Great Commission Fund, Expansion Fund (Clear), and Benevolent Fund.  Additional funds are listed in a drop-down box under Special Giving Funds (below the four main funds).

Recurring Donations

    • If you do not already have a TouchPoint account, please create an account during the donation process (see “Setting up an account” above). This is essential for managing recurring giving.
    • Midway through the process of setting up a recurring donation, you can expect to receive an email from “Penny at Salem Alliance <mailer@bvcms>” with a link.  Click on that link to complete the process.  (One-time donations do not have this extra step.)

 

How to View and Print Your Contribution Statements:

If you have been giving to Salem Alliance and would like to view or print your contribution statement, you may do so by logging in to our new TouchPoint system. If you do not have a password for TouchPoint or need to reset your password, you may do so by using the link below. 

LOGIN TO TOUCHPOINTREQUEST / RESET PASSWORD


Once you are logged in on TouchPoint, you will find several tabs listed beneath your name and address—Personal, Involvement, Profile, Giving and Emails. Click on the "Giving" tab to reveal a new area with two new tab options—Contributions and Statements. From the "Statements" tab, you may click on any year to view or print a contribution statement.
