SEMINAR DESCRIPTIONS

Friday Seminars

Embracing the PresentLaura Herrmann

Do you struggle to experience contentment in your current life season? You're not alone. Together, we will lean into the love God has for us and see who He has created us to be as we live in the present.

Navigating the Ins and Outs of Friendship, Heidi Thurston
Have you ever wished you had a "how-to" manual for friendships? As Heidi shares her journey with friendships, you'll learn some practical "how-to's" to begin new friendships and take your relationships deeper.

Creating Space in a World of Distractions, Becky Gossard
We all long for a deeper knowledge and intimacy with Jesus, yet the idea of fitting more into our already full life is simply overwhelming. In this seminar, we will look at creating space for Jesus to move significantly in our everyday life.

Saturday Seminars

Praying Outside the Box, Laura Scharer
This panel will be discussing the wide variety of ways that we can connect with God in our everyday lives. Attending church, reading our Bibles, and having quiet times are great ways of grounding ourselves in God - and yet, there is more! Come talk about how to notice, seek and hear God in ways that you may have not considered.

Beyond the Hurt, Deb Sherwood
What keeps us from opening our arms to the fullness of God? Fear? Forgiveness? Sin? Join us as we learn how to let go of the things that hinder us and replace them with the many gifts God desires to give.

The Question of "Calling", Jennifer Roth
We know God created us with a purpose but how do we know when He has truly called us, and do we have the courage to answer His call? Looking at the life of Gideon, we will see just how patient and full of grace God is, even as we wrestle with the question of "calling."

Thanks for Listening, Allison Collingwood
Unfortunately, most of us think we are better listeners than we are. Come find out how listening to God, to ourselves, and to others, shapes us, and strengthens relationships.

Body and Soul Care, Kara Brown
What? God wants me to rest and care for my body and soul? No way! Tell me more! Let's chat about how much God loves us and truly desires for us to take care of our bodies and souls...He even rejoices when we do!
