Peacemakers Is...
Helping you resolve conflict in a God honoring way through training in group settings or one-on-one. Peacemakers intends to help you understand God’s peace and train you to respond to conflict with grace and obedience. The Bible is filled with principles that are applicable to every kind of conflict. Peacemakers will help you foster a culture in your life, home, family, neighborhood or workplace that reflects unity in Christ.

Why Peacemakers?
It's Biblical, Practical, and Powerful
Reconciliation is at the core of our Christian faith. Jesus led the way by reconciling us to God through the cross. “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” Romans 12:18. Dealing with root issues (i.e. matters of the heart) leads to lasting resolution of conflicts. Peace is a powerful witness in our community.

Mediation

When you cannot resolve a conflict with one or more people, you may need to go to the next step of Christian mediation. A panel of three trained mediators will be assigned to help both parties see the conflict more clearly through Christ’s eyes and to help bring a voluntary resolution that is honoring to God. Typically there are at least two sessions and often more. The mediation fee is $175 regardless of the number of sessions, and it is typically split equally between the parties. Cases have ranged from divorce and separation, business disputes, parent-child and inter-generational family conflicts.

Church Conciliation

Conflict does arise in churches, and a growing part of the Peacemaker ministry has been working with churches in conflict to resolve the issue(s) and avoid a church split. Our geographic ministry scope is the Willamette Valley, but we will consider requests from areas beyond this. There is a charge for this service.
