Help, Hope and Healing for Life's Hurts, Habits and Hang-ups 

LifePath offers help, hope and healing for life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. Participants experience safe community in which to learn new thinking and practice healthy behaviors. LifePath groups welcome anyone struggling with hurtful relationships, behaviors or attitudes and provide great tools and encouragement in moving towards emotional/spiritual wholeness and maturity.

Help for the Holidazed: Finding and Enjoying Holiday Sanity
Beginning Monday, November 20, from 6:30–8:00 pm in the Faith Annex. Join Ron Friesen and Jane Wolf for four weeks of LifePath events designed to offer help, hope and healing during the upcoming holiday season. Each night covers its own unique topic: Minimizing Unrealistic Expectations, Setting Boundaries with Difficult People, Practicing Grace in Relationships and Slowing Down to Reflect and Worship. Minimizing Unrealistic Expectations — Monday, November 20
Find greater freedom from the engrained codes of spoken and unspoken expectations established by others, especially during the holiday season.

Setting Boundaries with Difficult People — Monday, November 27
Learn more about when to say “yes” and when to say “no” in defining who you are and who you’re not in relation to others.

Practicing Grace in Relationships — Monday, December 4
Get free and set others free from the burden of pressuring, controlling and manipulating those around them.

Slowing Down to Reflect and Worship  Monday, December 11

Open Groups (No Registration Needed)

In LifePath, people on healing journeys find the needed accountability and encouragement of knowing they are not alone in their struggle to move into healthier living. Groups vary in size and are open, meaning they can be joined at any time. 

12-Steps Toward Healing
Mondays, 6:30–8:00 pm, in Faith Annex (1305 5th St NE), beginning September 25, 2017
This group offers an introduction to the 12-Steps and explores how they help deal with issues such as people pleasing, boundaries, perfectionism, entangled relationships, abandonment/trust, addictions, compulsions and more. Gatherings consist of thirty minutes of large group learning in Open Place, followed by sixty minutes of confidential, small group discussion in Open Share

Overcomers Outreach 
Fridays, 6:30–8:00 pm, in Faith Annex (1305 5th St NE), Rm. 3
This is a biblically-based, 12-Step group for those struggling with or who have been impacted by codependency,  compulsive behaviors or substance abuse. 

Men's Integrity Groups
Sundays and Tuesdays, 6:30–8:00 pm, in Faith Annex (1305 5th St NE), Rm. 2
These safe, confidential groups help men who struggle with sexual integrity issues.


Closed Groups ( Registration Required)

A variety of closed, topical LifePath groups with required registration will be added in January 2018. Watch fortopical offerings and registration information later this Fall.


Arresting Anger
For men whose anger either rages out of control or simmers poisonously deep inside. Learn new ways of processing anger and specific, practical strategies to deal with it.


For people who have difficulty defining who they are and who they’re not in relation to others. Learn when to say “yes” and how to say “no” to take appropriate control of life.


Breaking Free from Codependency
For people feeling responsible to please and rescue others while neglecting their own basic needs. Learn how to change the thought and behavioral patterns that become codependent traps.


Dealing with Divorce
For people ready to take an honest look at a variety of personal issues that can surface with divorce. Learn to take new steps toward emotional recovery and greater relational health.


Mending the Abused Soul
For women deeply hurt and isolated by the effects of abuse and neglect who are longing for healing within safe and nurturing relationships with others.


Parents in Pain
For parents dealing with the guilt, frustration, anger and sense of inadequacy that grip them when their adolescent or young adult children are making unhealthy life choices.


The Art of Forgiving
For women willing to look at the hurts they don’t know how to let go of and the bitterness and resentment this causes. Learn the freedom of true forgiveness.


Tired of Trying to Measure Up
For people feeling guilty and tired, for whom nothing is ever “good enough.” Learn how to live in greater freedom from engrained codes of spoken and unspoken expectations and rules established by others.
