Becca Mann

Outreach Ministries Assistant

Becca is the motivator and activator of the team. If it weren't for Becca, half of what is done within the team wouldn't happen as effectively or efficiently. Becca loves personality and strengths inventories, and is known for being the first person to have all 32 strengths listed in the Strengthsfinder. She's also really good at identifying and encouraging the strengths and gifts in others.

angels ministry
David and Mary Anne Platt direct the Angels Ministry, which makes lunches and deliver them daily to the "true homeless" of Salem. Whether you make lunches or deliver them, you will be part of reaching God's beloved people through acts of compassion and grace.
foster parent night out
This team provides monthly respite for foster families in our neighborhood and those who call Salem Alliance their church home. Currently we serve about 30 kids and a dozen families through FPNO. From reptiles to race cars, activities and fun are endless for the kids we serve every month! Duane Goranson and Christy Nordstrom co-lead this dynamic ministry team.
grant mentors
Gerry Griffin helps motivate, encourage and equip men and women from our congregation to make a difference in the lives of children who attend Grant Community School. Salem Alliance has enjoyed a wonderful parternship with this school for years. Currently the mentoring program has over 30 mentors involved, the majority of which are from Salem Alliance!
grant/highland neighborhood lighthouses
This group of men & women who meet monthly to support one another to reach out to our neighbors and "light up" this region with the grace & truth of Jesus Christ is led by Sam & Jennifer Skillern. This group is truly a family, as they come together regularly and share life together. Love and commitment to the Grant and Highland neighborhoods is deep in this group - just ask them why they love to live here. You'll find that God has called each one to his or her neighborhood on purpose!
hands 4 christ
Lois Leech is the Volunteer Coordinator of this group who makes blankets for SAC newborns, Baby Boutique and Simonka Place (shelter for women & children) and Scarves & Hats for ANGELS Homeless Ministry and Simonka Place. Each item is prayed over and are individually handcrafted. Beginners are welcome!
marion-polk food share: feed hope food drives
This partnership involves regular food drives as well as food sorting events, which happen the week after food is collected during weekend services. Food Drives happen in late winter, early summer and during our Thanksgiving Eve service. We are also a year-round food donation site- donations can be placed in the bins near the church entrances. Salem Alliance is committed to being a partner in ending hunger here in Oregon. We're starting in our own backyard.

Better yet, come by to find out for yourself!
royal order of red suspenders
This team of guys and gals split, chop, stack and deliver firewood to individuals & families in the community who would not be able to heat their homes without this assistance. This team makes hundreds of deliveries each winter season - blessing those in need with tangible expressions of God's love is what drives them!
storage unit ministry
